A minor boy was killed when a human hauler hit him at Goborchaka Shahbari in the city on Thursday midnight.
The deceased was identified as Ratul, 5, son of MahsinHawladar of Morelganj in Bagerhat district.
Harshit Mandal, sub-inspector of Shonadanga Model Police Station, said the human hauler hit the boy around 12 am while he was crossing a road, leaving him injured.
Later, he was taken to Khulna Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
