Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Dinajpur, Tetulia, Dimla, Rajarhat, Rajshahi, Pabna, Badalgachhi, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, Srimangal, Sitakunda, Mymensingh, Gopalgonj and Faridpur and it may continue for few days, a met office press release said on Monday.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to today’s morning, it added.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country and also having chances of light rain in Cox’s Bazar district during the time, it continued.
Night temperature may fall by (1-2) o C and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Sunday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and Feni in Chattogram while Monday’s minimum temperature was 7.0 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
