Milad marking PM`s birthday held at Ganobhaban

A milad and doa mahfil was held at Ganobhaban on Wednesday marking the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the eldest daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
A special munajat was offered seeking long life and good health of the Prime Minister as well as blessings of Almighty Allah. Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the Father of the Nation and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage as well as for the nation’s continued peace, progress and prosperity.
Pesh Imam of Sobhanbagh Jame Masjid Moulana Mohammad Liakat Hossain conducted the milad and doa mahfil held after Asr prayers. State Minister for Textiles and Jute Mirza Azam, Awami League Organising Secretaries Bahauddin Nasim, MP, and Khaled Mahmud Chowdhury, MP, Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, MP, PM’s Military Secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin and senior officials of the Prime Minister’s Office and Ganobhaban joined the milad and doa mahfil.
Meanwhile, special diet was provided to the Orphanage Centre of Anjuman Mufidul Islam at Gandaria and Chhotamoni Nibash at Azimpur in the capital on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Sheikh Hasina, also president of ruling Awami League.
