The Metro Rail delegation could not go to Japan for inspection due to visa complications. For this, the Metro Rail trial will be held in June instead of April as the rail coaches did not arrive at the scheduled time.

It is learned that the country’s first metro rail will leave Japan’s Port of Kobe in February. Although the authorities could not go due to visa complications, the inspection and online visual trial through a third party has ended. Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has already given permission for shipment. In that case, the trial run will be in June instead of April.

The country’s first metro rail coach will be brought by ship from Japan after the inspection last January. As the Bangladesh delegation could not go to Japan due to Covid-19 and visa complications “” alternative, inspections and online visual trials have been conducted through third parties. The clearance has been given after watching the visual trial from the country.
