Master plan for mini secretariat in Chattogram soon: DC

Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Mohammad Mominur Rahman said, “A master plan of the mini-secretariat for Chattogram in Jungle Salimpur will be implemented in to one and a half months.
We wish for the cooperation that we can do to create a wonderful place for the people of Chittagong while keeping the environment intact.”
Chittagong District Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman said these to the journalists after a discussion meeting with organisations hoping to build various government facilities in Jungle Salimpur in a meeting held at Chattogram Circuit House on Saturday.
He said that Chittagong has 3 thousand 100 acres of khas land. This 3 thousand 100 acres of khas land have been occupied by various land robbers and terrorists for a long time and by cutting the mountains to establish settlements. In light of that, a high-level meeting of the government has been held.
Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister Ahmed Kaykaus was also present at the meeting. The Principal Secretary viewed the proposed model of the mini secretariat (Jungle Salimpour), Chattogram City Awami League General Secretary AJM Nashir Uddin, various levels of Chattogram government functionaries, political leaders, public representatives were also present on the occasion.
