Executive Director, Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) and former Advisor to Caretaker Government Rasheda K Chowdhury said it is emergency to find out the reasons behind drop out of the students.
“A number of female students terminate their studies as their guardians compel them to get married and after marriage they do not get inspiration to continue study. It is one of major causes for dropping out of the students,” she said.
Dhaka Education Board’s College Inspector Dr Ashfaqus Salehin told The New Nation yesterday that the students, who applied for reviewing of their results, did not do that in the first phase of the admission process. It will be clear after reviewing of the examination papers and completing all the admission processes that how many students dropped out.
