Manpower shortage hits Beanibazar UZ Health Complex

Beanibazar Upazila Health Complex facing manpower and equipment shortage for a long time. So people are depriving from proper medical service. About 12 lackh people of 5 upazila’s are suffering.
In this 50 seat hospital people from borlekha, Juri, Goplagonj, Zakigong and Kanighat take medical service. Some years ago it is change to 50 bed instead of 30 bed. At that time a new building constructed. It consists with 20 bed one word and 3 cabin. But it is not shifted due to staff shortage. So present work face unhygienic environment.
Daily overage 400 patient receive service. 50 bed is always full. some time sit crisis create. But due to staff shortage proper service is absent. An x ray Machine was established 8 years ago but its is inactive since its installation. A radiographer receive salary without work. There is a generator in the hospital but it has no operator. It is in active about one year due to absence of shed.
RMO said this generator require a shed. But the authority take no step. Even there is no fuel for generator.
Present residential quarter are now facing risk. Before one year they are repaired but now it has no impact. Water crisis exist due to line fault.
FP officer said we work whole day but returning home we face water crisis.
Upazila health officer said we work for humanity. SO people receive service. We inform the higher authority but no affect.
