A drug trader was killed over sharing of money at Baroanchra village under Benapole Port Police Station. The victim was identified as Sayeed Hossain Tanu, 25, from Gadkhali village under Jhikargachha upazila.
The youth died at Jessore Medical College and Hospital on Monday evening after being wounded seriously in the
residence of another drug dealer Abdus Sobhan of Baroanchra village in the afternoon. He was rushed to the local upazila health complex first and then shifted to Jessore Medical College and Hospital where he died in the evening.
Apurba Hasan, Officer in-Charge, Benapole Port Police Station confirmed the news of death. ‘Reason of the killing could not be known immediately’, he said.
