A man was killed and three others were injured in a mudslide while making a septic tank at Kuthipara in the district town on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Jabed Hossain, of Sadar upazila. Mohamamd Shahriar, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the incident took place in the afternoon when a chunk of mud collapsed on four workers while digging a well for making a septic tank at the house of one Nazrul Islam, leaving them injured. On information, a firefighting unit rescued the three victims and taken to Gaibandha Modern Hospital.
