Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) is wasting government money in the name of helicopter patrolling showing security reasons during the Eid-Ul-Fitr in the country.
Launch owners alleged, the BIWTA authority is looting money in the name of ensuring security of the passengers during the Eid vacation.
A fair also been increased among the passengers, Launch owners and master crews of the Launch when the helicopter are guarding upon the passenger Launch.
The three-day long helicopter guarding has been started from Saturday that will continue till Monday.
Anger has been increased even among the BIWTA officials, in this connection.
A BIWTA officials sources said seeking anonymity that it is nothing but waste of government money. BIWTA has to spend five lakh and 70 thousands per hour for this.
