The Inter-District Women’s Badminton Competition concluded at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in Dhanmondi on Saturday.
Rehana Khatun of Pabna district team emerged as the champion in the women’s singles, while Rehana Khatun and Reshma Khatun duo of Pabna district team became champions in the women’s doubles.
Meanwhile, Bushra Jahan of Sylhet district team finished runner-up in the women’s singles, while Bushra Jahan and Afrana Islam duo of Sylhet district team became runners-up in the women’s doubles.
After the final matches, General Secretary of Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association Quamrun Nahar Dana distributed the prizes among the winners. Badminton Sub-Committee of the Association Syeda Marium Tareq and the other officials of the Association were present at the time.
