Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or
squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin valid for 24-hour
commencing at 9am on Monday.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.2 degrees Celsius at Srimangal and minimum temperature on Monday was recorded 23.8 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar.The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Monday was recorded 71 mm in Patuakhali.
