Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am today, said a Met office release here on Monday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Monday,” said the release. Besides, the Met office in a warning message said, “In association with rain or thundershowers with temporary south or south-easterly, gusty or squally wind speeding 45-60 kph is likely to occur over the regions of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet wherein river ports shall hoist cautionary signal no one”.
