State Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Swapon Bhattachariya met the journalists in Jashore at the local circuit house on Wednesday night.
The meeting was attended among others by Abdul Awal, deputy commissioner, Jashore, former presidents of Jashore Press Club Ekram-ud-Daullah and Mizanur Rahman Tota, vice-presidents Monotosh Basu and Anwarul Kabir Nantu, secretary Tauhidur Rahman, senior journalists Rukunuddaullah, Farazi Ahmed Syed Bulbu, Mobinul Islam Mobin, Saifur Rahman Saif, Mamun Rahman, Noor Islam, Tauhid Zaman and Saiful Islam Sazal.
