Bangladesh Ansar & VDP and Tangail District team won their respective matches of the final round of the KFC National Women’s Football Championship at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Thursday.
In the day’s first match, Ansar & VDP blanked Khulna District team by 12-0 goals. Ungmra Ching and Munmun Akter of Ansar scored five goals each and their teammates Maynu Marma and Moghni netted one goal each.
In the day’s second match, Tangail District team defeated Satkhire District team by 6-1 goals.
Krishna Rani of Tangail District team scored four goals with a hat-trick and her teammates Bipasha, Mithila netted one goal each. On the other hand, Nargis of Satkhira District team pulled off one.
