LG Electronics Bangladesh has launched new range “Mosquito Away TV”, which acts as mosquito repellent.
The LG Mosquito Away TV, developed as per the Bangladeshi insights by consumers, is equipped with an Ultra Sonic device which once activated, uses the sound wave technology and makes mosquitoes fly away without emitting any harmful radiations. It is effective to make home mosquito and mosquito borne diseases free, said a press release.
Explaining the working system of the technology, Mahmudul Hasan, Head of Consumer Electronics of LG Electronics Bangladesh said, “Mosquitoes sense the CO2 exhaled by human beings and get attracted towards it. Ultrasonic device paralyzes and disables mosquitoes’ power.”
“It uses sound waves only and provides healthy environment as no harmful chemicals are used. The TV is also cost saving and safe,” he added.
LG Mosquito Away TV has been experimentally verified and certified by Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR). The technology complies with the norms of global organizations.
