Following the directives of the higher court, he was granted, sources said. Ctg jail super sources said Shamsul Islam freed from Chittagong central jail yesterday at 11.25 am . Sources said Shamsul Islam was shown arrest with 16 cases.
Court sources said High court directed the law enforcing agencies not to harass Jamaat leader shamsul Islam further . Mentionable that Shamsul Islam was detained from Dewan Bazar area in city on May 12,2014 by metro police.
Shamsul was elected legislator from Satkania-Lohagara constituency in immediate past sangsad election.
