The Danish film Another Round, starring Mads Mikkelsen, won Best International Film at the 93rd Academy Awards this weekend. Now it seems that American studios are attempting to profit from the film’s popularity. Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way production company has acquired the rights to remake the film through an auction. In addition, the audience will get the chance to see DiCaprio playing the role of a vulnerable middle-aged man in an existential crisis played by Mads Mikkelsen in the Danish version. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson will play lead role.
