The Legends Champions Trophy (LCT) begins today at Cox’s Bazar International Stadium. The former national star cricketers will take part in the six-team tournament. Earlier, The name of the tournament was Masters Cricket Carnival. The Masters Cricket Carnival was held four to five years.
A total of six teams will take part in the cricket competition. Expo Raiders, Boishakhi Bengals, Gemcon Titans, Narayanganj Warriors, Acme Strikers, J’Adoube Stars will compete in the cricket meet for the former star cricketers.
The icon players of six teams are: Naimur Rahman Durjoy (Narayanganj Warriors), Khaled Mashud Pilot (Acme Strikers), Minhajul Abedin Nannu ( Boishakhi Bengals), Akram Khan (J’Adoube Stars) Khaled Mahmud Sujon ( Expo Riders) and Habibul Bashar Sumon (Gemcon Titans).
Ace and Crisball will jointly arrange the cricket meet with the co-operation of Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB). Subra Systems Limited is the sponsor of the cricket competition. Private satellite sports television channel T Sports will telecast the matches live.
