Bijoy Mela ( Victory Fair ) was inaugurated at Rangpur on Saturday organised by Army Headquarter Rangpur.
City Mayor Sharfuddiun Ahamed Jhantu inauguratesd the Fair.
The Fair will continue till December 15.Major General Md. Salauddin Miaji,Psc,Area Commander,66,Infenrty Division, Rangpur Area, other high officials of Army and elite of the City Corporation areas were present in the inaugural ceremony.
City Mayor said we got freedom after sacrifice hundreds
Of life. He said a section of people trying to create anarchy to destroy the country.In this regard he appealed to the Army always aware about them. He thanked GOC alongwith others officials of Bangladesh Army for organizing this of Fair. He said the new generation does not know what was Liberation War.
