Former City Mayor and President of Awami League, Ctg City Unit Alhaj ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury determined not to leave public thoroughfares until the trial of MA Latif MP who distorts the portrait of Bangabandhu.
He disclosed it while addressing the huge protest rally at Solasahar Railway Station as arranged by Panchalaish Thana Nagorik Mancha in city on Saturday as chief guest. He said I ever first protested the killing of Bangabandhu and his family members from Chittagong and never compromised with any quarters rather launched movement without any hesitation.
He further said I am the last man who will not spare MA Latif MP for his dare audacity of distorting the piciure of the Father of the Nation. He also committed to continue his movement against the distorter until the trial and exemplary punishment of the legislator.
Former ward councilor and city AL leader Ahmedur Rahman Siddiqui presided over the protest rally.
Among others, vice president of City AL Khorshed Alam Sujan, convenor of Nagarik Mancha AKM Belayet Hossain, former central Jubo league Leader Saifuddin Ahmed, former councilor Md. Yakub, Sramik League leader Mohabbat Ali Khan, Swechchhasebak League leader Devashish Nath Dev MES College Chhatra League President Habibur Rahman Tarek and leaders of city AL spoke on the occasion, a sources said.
