Tri-Nation ODI series: Lanka-Zimbabwe match today

Sri Lanka will face Zimbabwe in their match of the Tri-Nation ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur today. The clash begins at 12.00 Noon. GTV will telecast the match live from the stadium.
Captain of Zimbabwe Graeme Cremer said, ” We are ready for the match against Sri Lanka. Though we could not perform well against Bangladesh but we are confident against Sri Lanka. We played against them recently. We have idea about the bowling attack of Sri Lanka. The wicket and the outfield may wet by due. It will play a role in the match.”
He said, “Though we were defeated by Bangladesh but we want to return to the competition playing against Sri Lanka.”
Captain of Sri Lanka Angelo Mathews said, ” Zimbabwe played well in the recently concluded Sri Lanka-Zimbabwe ODI series in Sri Lanka. We not only performed worse but they also played well. They are good side.”
He said, ” They are now stronger opponents. To play against them is challenging. We want to face them with our strength.”
