Popular singers Kumar Bishwajit and Ankhi Alamgir performed together lastly in Noim Imtiaz Neyamul directed and actor Ferdous produced movie Ek Cup Cha.
After a break of several years, they rendered song together. They rendered together a playback song for Debashish Biswas directing movie Herogiri recently. Lyrics of the song were written by Sudip Kumar Dip under the music composition of Emon Saha.
Recently its recording was done in the city’s Shruti Recording Studio in Moghbazar area.
Title of the song is: Chokhachokhi hoye gelo, ebar mone mon, lenadena korbore chol, jombe ayojon.
While talking about the song Kumar Bishwajit told this correspondent, “It was an interesting song. I have enjoyed a lot rendering the song. Its lyrics and tunes were really nice. I believe listeners will get something new in this song.”
Ankhi Alamgir shared her feelings by this way, “Overall it became a nice song. After a long time, I have rendered a song with Bishwada. I believe listeners will enjoy the song.”
It may be mentioned that Herogiri is based on the story of Telegu movie Ooriki Monagadu, which was released in 1981.
