Staff Reporter :The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved charge sheet in a case filed against former Public Health Nutrition (PHN) Director Dr Umme Farida Khatun on charge of embezzling Tk 35 lakh from the organisation. ACC senior officers, in its regular meeting held in the commission head office on Tuesday, gave the approval, ACC PRO said.On August 12, ACC filed the case against her with Banani Thana under ACC Act-1947, Section-2. According to the charge sheet, misusing her power, Farida Khatun withdrew the said amount from the PHN by preparing fake vouchers in the name of different projects. ACC Deputy Director Monayem Hossain conducted the investigation.
