Kings Cup begins on November 15 at Changlimithang in Bhutan. A total of nine teams dividing into two groups will compete in the first phase of the football competition. Druk United FC (Bhutan), Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club (Bangladesh), Mohan Bagan FC (India), Nakhon Ratchasing Mazda (Thailand) have been billed in Group A while Abahani Limited (Bangladesh), Assam Electricity (India), MMC FC (Nepal), Osotspa FC (Tahiland), Ugyen Academy FC (Bhutan) have been placed in Group B.
Abahani Limited will play against Assam Electricity on November 16, Ugyen Academy on November 18, MMC FC on November 22, Osotspa FC on November 25.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will take on Druk Limited on November 15, Nakhon Ratchasing Mazda on November 23, Mohan Bagan FC on November 27.
The champions of the Group A will face the runners-up of Group B in the first semifinal on November 29 while the champions of Group B will meet the runners-up of Group A in the second semifinal on November 30 at the same venue.
The winners of the two semifinals will face each other in the final on December 2 at the same venue.
