King Salman Humanatrian Aid and Relief Centre distributed Iftar items among 2000 distressed 2 people through International Organization for Relief, Welfare and Development (IORWD) at Ummelhora High School ground , Adamjee under Siddiganj Upazila in Narayanganj on Friday and Saturday .
Distressed people from different part of the upazila received the baskets of iftar which was selected earlier . Iftar items weighing 25 kgs include rice, lentls , sugar , salt and edible oil.
Dr Taha Omar Alkhateeb , Director General of Programme and Welfare, International Organization for Relief, Welfare and Development (IORWD) along with IORD officials Khaled Abu Bakkar , Media Coordinator , Omer Mahidi Hamdi Wadi, Emergency and Relief Coordinator distributed iftar baskets .
King Salman Humanatrian Aid and Relief Centre has been working in Bangladesh since May ,2019 and 30,000 food baskets will be distributed in different places of the country , The total cost of the project estimated about 3 million Saudi Riyals with a target to benefit 120 thousand underprivileged people .
