Again another young tourist named Sabuj (27) went missing during taking bath in sea at Zero-Point of Kuakata Coast on Monday.
Sabuj was a native from Shahjahanpur area of Shariatpurt. He is working in Intel-mobile Company. Fire service and Tourist Police teams are conducting searching operation to rescue the missing.
According to police and local sources, a group of 55 people working in the Intel Company and the group stayed at Bogura that morning reached Kuakata in a tour programme.
Later they went to the hotel and after taking rest went to sea at two o’clock in the afternoon, three of them named Sabuj, Asfi and Walid took a bath.
At that time, they floated away by the waves and later the local water bike drivers were able to rescue the two people, but Sabuj remain missing as he did not know swimming.
Station Officer at Kalapara Fire Rescue Muhammad Elias said, currently we are conducting a searching and rescue operation. Meanwhile, our diving team has been called from Patuakhali and they already have left from Patuakhali
Assistant Superintendent of Police at Kuakata Tourism Police Station Abdul Khalek said they also conducting searching and rescue operation coordinating with fire service.
Mentionable another incident took place at the same place at around 1 pm on Saturday and dead body of that tourist named Parvez recovered three hours later.
