Kidnapped school girl rescued after 51 days

Chittagong Bureau :One kidnapped school girl named Champa Nath (15) was rescued from Sundarban area in a critical condition after 51 days of his abduction. He was rescued yesterday morning from Munshigonj lunchghat of Sundarban in unconscious condition by the local people and now under treatment in Shamnagar Upazila Health Complex under Satkhira Hospital, Chittagong district police sources said. School girl was kidnapped from Chokoria under Cox’sBazar district in greater Chittagong. Chokoria police sources said Champa Nath was abducted from Malumghat station on Chittagong-CoxsBazar highway on April 4 last while she was going to appear at the SSC examination. Champa is the student of Malumghat Memorial Christian High School. Champa is the daughter of Rakhal Nath. Officer in-charge of Chokoria thabna Pravash Chandra Dhar admitted the fact of rescuing the school girl. Later, the family members of the kidnapped filed a abduction case after 10 days of her abduction in Chokoria thana.
