Katrina Kaif is clearly at the highest point in her career right now. With her last movie being a blockbuster and three mega projects in the pipeline for her, she is surely soaring high. Add to that, word is that she’s signed an international project with none other than the Kung Fu master, Jackie Chan. Hong Kong based filmmaker, Stanley Tong, will direct the film.
The film, titled Kung Fu Yoga, will have the actress playing the role of an Indian professor at a Chinese University. Jackie Chan plays the role of a Chinese archaeologist who asks for her help in order to unearth the treasures from the Magadha era. The story involves them setting out on a treasure hunt starting in King Bimbisara’s dynasty, who ruled the Magadha Empire around 542 BC to 492 BC. The professor and the archaeologist will also be shown travelling back in time and interacting with the royals.
Since the movie stars Jackie Chan, it is bound to be action-packed. Jackie Chan had earlier mentioned in May 2015 that he would be keen on an Indo-Chinese collaboration and it looks like he’s found his match in the gorgeous Katrina. Sources reveal that even Katrina will be performing stunts and after her fiery punches in Ek Tha Tiger, we are certainly looking forward to this one.
