On the occasion of the 40th martyrdom anniversary of late President Ziaur Rahman, a discussion meeting was held in Kapasia on the initiative of Upazila Juba Dal. Prayers and food were distributed among the needy. Shah Riazul Hannan Riaz, the BNP’s guardian in the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad elections, spoke as the chief guest at a discussion held at the courtyard of the house of the late Brigadier General (retd) ASM Hannan Shah, a former member of the BNP Standing Committee, at Ghagtia on 4 June Friday afternoon.
Earlier in the morning, masks were distributed among the people at Kapasia Sadar Bus Stand and Targaon Medical Junction under the leadership of Upazila BNP President Md Khalilur Rahman.
