A local Jubo League activist was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Mashuriapara area in Ishwardi upazila on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Musa Hossain, 22, son of Abdul Zalil of the area.
Biman Kumar Dash, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police station said some unidentified miscreants coming in a motorbike stabbed Musa indiscriminately when he was sitting with his friends in Bostipara Mahalla area around 11:00
pm, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was rushed to Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 1:00 am. Police said, Musa might have been killed in following previous enmity.
