JS body for dope test monitoring cell

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Ministry on Sunday recommended for setting up a cell to monitor in all recruitments.
The recommendation came at the 7th meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its chairman Md Shamsul Haque Tuku in the chair, according to a parliamentary press release.
Members of the committee and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Md Habibar Rahman, Shamsul Alam Dudu, Kuzendra Lal Tripura, Md Faridul Haque Khan, Noor Mohammad and Sultan Mohammad Mansur Ahmed participated in the meeting.
It said the committee asked the ministry for taking effective steps to ensure dope test and its activities during all recruitments under the home ministry.
The meeting was informed that various programmes have been taken in all the organisations under the Ministry of Home Affairs in celebration of the “Mujib Year 2020”.
The committee advised to include Ansar-VDP members, who were deployed for law and order, to implement the programmes in every upazila.
It was also informed that India expressed its keen interest to be associated with Bangladesh for celebrating the Mujib Year.
Department of Prisons presented overall activities in the meeting.
Officials concerned were present at the meeting, the release also said.
