The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division’s Additional Secretary Golam Fakhruddin Ahmed Chowdhury has been appointed as Managing Director of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) on Sunday.
Prior, he served in the Office of Controller of Certifying Authorities as its chief.
He completed BSC Engineering degree from BUET in 1983. He also obtained MBA from University of Dhaka and Masters in IT from Australia, BSS reports.
He took part in various trainings and seminars in UK, USA, Switzerland, Ireland, Malaysia, Vietnam and Korea.
