JnU expels 4 students for assaulting teacher

The authorities of Jagannath University (JnU) on Monday expelled four students, who are connected with JnU unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League, for their allegedly breaking discipline on the campus.
After primary investigation, the university authorities found them guilty of clash and violence on the campus on Saturday. In a notice signed by the university register confirmed the action.
The expelled students are Md Shahriar Rahman Shanto of the Department of Mathematics of 2017-2018 session, Touhidul Islam Tuhin and Mehdi Hassan Department of Economics of 2016-2017 session and Ashraful Al Rifat department of CSE. Earlier on Sunday, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) suspended the activities of Jagannath University (JnU) unit following a clash between two factions that left at least five injured including the university teacher and member of proctor team.
