JMCH vandalised over patient’s death

 Angry relatives vandalised Jessore Medical College Hospital (JMCH) following death of a patient for alleged negligence in treatment.
The victim was identified as Jamshed Ali.
Victim’s family said Jashed Ali had been admitted to the hospital with severe pain in the stomach on April 25.
He was admitted at the male ward of the hospital under Dr Madhusudhan Pal.
On Sunday night, Jamshed died after he was given an injection prescribed by Dr Yunus Ali of the hospital.
Outraged by the death, his relatives vandalised the male ward and nurses’ stat injuring two nurses.
JMCH director-in-charge Dr Yakub ali formed a three member investigation committee to work in this regard.
