Former minister and also Agriculture Affairs Secretary of Awami League, Dr Abdur Razzak, MP told there will be no blockade and general strike in next one or two days. ‘Rather people will attack the residence of Begum Khaleda Zia in one or two days’, the AL leader added.
Kazi Jafar Ullah, presidium of the party said ‘the USA and Professor Mohammad Yunus did not carry Khaleda Zia to power in the last general election, but she thoughts’.
Mahbubul Alam Hanif, joint secretary, Bangladesh Awami League said BNP chief Begum Khaleda Zia was conspiring against the country with the help of western countries.
The leaders of the ruling party were speaking at the opening session of the conference of Jessore district unit Awami League held Jessore Eidgah on Thursday morning.
Ali Reza Raju, outgoing president, Jessore district unit Awami League chaired the conference while Kazi Jafar Ullah, presidium of the party was the chief guest.
The conference was attended among others by Mahbubul Alam Hanif, joint secretary, AL, Dr Abdur Razzak, MP, agriculture affairs secretary, BM Mozammel Haque, organizing secretary, Habibur Rahman Siraj, labour affairs secretary, Ismat Ara Sadeq, state minister for public administration, AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, SM Kamal Hossain and local lawmakers and leaders of the party.
