Both the semi-finals of the 1st Walton Inter University Football tournament will be held today (Monday) at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
On the day, City University will take on Fareast University in the first semi-final at 2 pm while BRAC University will take on Green University in the second semis at 4 pm at the same venue.
The final of the tournament is slated on Wednesday (July 26) at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
Meanwhile, In the day’s first quarter matches today, City University beat IUB University by a solitary goal, Green University defeated Ulab by 2-1 goals, Fareast University edged past IUBAT by a lone goal and BRAC University dumped Daffodil University by 6-0 goals.
