Bangladesh Premier League Football resumes today

After two-day recess, the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football will resume today. League leaders Bashundhara Kings will take on Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in the day’s lone match at the Bhasha Sainik Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla. The match will kick-off at 4.00pm. Private satellite sports Channel T Sports will telecast the match live.
Bashundhara Kings have secured the top spot in the points table grabbing 44 points from 17 matches, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited have taken the sixth position claiming 25 points from as many matches.
A total of three matches of BPL Football will be held tomorrow at the different venues across the country. All the matches will start at 4.00pm.
Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Saif Sporting Club Limited at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj. Dhaka Abahani Limited have obtained the second position bagging 38 points from 17 matches, while Saif Sporting Club have achieved the third position collecting 30 points from as many outings.
Shaikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited will meet Chittagong Abahani Limited at the Bhasha Sainik Dhirendrantah Dutta Stadium in Cumilla. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited have attained the fourth position grabbing 30 points from 17 matches, while Chittagong Abahani Limited have taken the fifth position capturing 26 points from as many outings.
Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra will take on Uttar Baridhara Club at Bashundhara Sports Complex in Dhaka.
Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra have obtained the eighth position collecting 18 points from 17 matches, while Uttar Baridhara Club have taken the ninth position earning 13 points from as many matches.
