Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the government poured the police force. Many initiatives have been taken to increase police capacity. If someone thinks that the police force 10 years ago, the police force would make a big mistake.
He said these at a large gathering of community policing organized at the GEC Convention Center in the city on Thursday .
Asaduzzaman Khaman Kamal said, the path of development in Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been moving at an unimpressive pace. But it is a big issue to ensure people’s safety to continue the developmental pace.
He said, the main task of community policing is to cooperate with the police. Need of community policing assistance to eliminate drug, militancy and terrorism from the country. We will deal with all of them together.
Deputy Minister of Education Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naofel said the Prime Minister is working on Delta Plan for the next 100 years. The implementation of this plan will have greater focus on public safety. Increasing the range of community policing for this will spread the ideas everywhere.
