The inhabitants of Satkhira are not happy as Mustafizur Rahman cannot play in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.
Earlier, ‘Wonder Boy’ Mustafizur Rahman showed a gimmick performance in his debut of IPL. He played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and played a key role for Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch the title of IPL 2016.
But this year he showed a painful performance in his first match in IPL. He conceding 34 runs in 2.4 overs and failed to bag any wicket against Mumbai Indians. After that, the ‘Cutter Boy’ is sidelined and cannot play any match in IPL.
On the other hand, debutante Rashid Khan of Afghanistan has got chance in every match for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. So, Mustafizur Rahman cannot get chance in the squad of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Mokhlesur Rahman Poltu, who is the elder brother of Mustafiz thinks that. Poltu said to a local website, ” Mustafizur Rahman is totally fit. But Rashid Khan is playing instead of Mustafiz. Rashid Khan showed a consistent performance in every match.”
However, Mustafiz is not unhappy. It is uncertain that the team management of Sunrisers Hyderabad will get a chance to Mustafiz to play in toady’s match against Pune Supergiants.
But, the inhabitants of Satkhira are unhappy as Mustafiz cannot play in IPL. The Satkhira fans of Mustafiz are frustrated as they cannot watch Mustafiz’s performance in IPL. Shohag Hossain, a second year student of Management Department of Satkhira Government College said, ” we are frustrated as we cannot watch the performance of Mustafizur Rahman.”
