The Index Group Under-10 Rugby Competition starts today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) has arranged the rugby competition, while Index Group is the sponsor of the meet.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Index Group Saifullah Al Munir will inaugurate the rugby meet today as the chief guest.
A total of 11 teams splitting into four groups are competiting in the tournament. Saint Gregory’s High School, Isha Kindergarten are in Group-A, Shaheed Nabi High School Sun Shine Pre-Cadet High School, Islami Adarsha High School are in Group-B, Ahmadbagh Adrasha High School, KM Bashir Government Primary School, Kamalapur Sher-e-Bangla Railway School are in Group-C, Segun Bagicha High School, Ali Ahmmad School, Rayer Bazar High School are in Group-D.
The champions of Group-A will face the champions of Group-C in the first semi-final, while the champions of Group-B will meet the champions of Group-D in the second semi-final.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on May 7.
