A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself over a family feud at Norpoti village in Shalikha upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Kajoli Rani Biswas, 35, wife of Protap Biswas, a resident of the village.
Abu Zihad, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said Kajoli Rani committed suicide by hanging herself in a huff with her husband at their house in the afternoon as their relation was not going well for last several days.
