BSS, Chittagong :
Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested an alleged member of Hijbut Tahrir from O R Nizam road area under city’s Panchlaish thana on Friday night.
The arrested was identified as Foyez Ahmed Noman, 30, an employee of a shipping company hailed from Raipur upazila of Lakshmipur.
On secret information, a team of Panchlaish police arrested Noman from in front of Hotel Well Park around 12.30am.
Later police recovered some anti-state leaflets from his possession.
Police said Noman try to organise Hijbut members at the area.
