Higher education can not prosper and thrive without its internationalisation , establishing academic and research collaboration with foreign universities.
This was observed by UGC Chairman (State Minister) Professor Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury while speaking as the Chief Guest at an international conference on “Breakthrough Management Strategies for Improving Oranisational Performance and Empowerment” jointly organised by Monash University and University of Dhaka at Faculty of Business Studies Conference Hall, Dhaka University on Tuesday.
He said , Bangladesh has huge youthforce. If the youthforce could be equipped with updated knowledge and skills, the country will surge ahead and would be able to hold its head high in global arena, he added.
Referring to enrollment he said that enrollment at tertiary level in Bangladesh is almost 3 million at present. He sressed the need for ensuring quality education.
