GP successfully concludes telenor youth forum 2015

Grameenphone, leading mobile operator in the country, has successfully concluded the third installment of the Telenor Youth Forum (TYF) on Saturday, says a press release. The theme of the year’s TYF is ‘Knowledge for All’.
Abreeshme Haque of Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Sadia Azad of BRAC University, and Sabab Rahman of IBA emerged as winners from Bangladesh at Telenor’s Youth Forum 2015 Grand Finale.
This year’s winning ideas were Muthoschool, The Left Side Classroom and The Glassroom. Telenor Group will now select the Bangladeshi representative to the Oslo event from these three.

Seven candidates, selected through a filtering process, presented their ideas to a judging panel consisting of experts from different areas. Out of the seven, three best ideas were nominated for the final round from which one or more ideas will be selected for the TYF conference in Oslo, which will be held from December 8 to 11 this year.
Nurul Islam Nahid, Education Minister, Merete Lundemo, Norwegian Ambassador to Dhaka and Rajeev Sethi, Chief Executive Officer of Grameenphone were among the attending guests at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said,” I thank Grameenphone for arranging this great program. It is encouraging to our youth in preparation for our vision 2021. This program is empowering our youth with technology and skills not only on a national level but an international arena.”
