Grameenphone, the number one operator of country has taken an initiative to introduce high speed Free Wi-Fi Internet service for its customers nationwide.
By 2015, the company has an ambition to connect minimum 30 important locations in the country under its’ WiFi umbrella. Initially, it will be a pilot project, and only Grameenphone customers will get access to the service at free of cost for the first 3 months.
This effort is part of Grameenphone’s ‘Internet for All’ ambition where it aims to bring more and more people under the light of internet. To provide best customer experience, Grameenphone has also spanned it’s network all over the country and this expansion of its’ 3G network in the countrywide is moving at a rapid pace. It is using this strong network as the basis for all the attractive internet offers.
