A week-long solo photography exhibition of Gazi Nafis Ahmed titled Innate Identities is being held
at Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts in the city’s
Dhanmondi area at present.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the US
Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan Mozena, while Dutch Ambassador to Bangladesh Gerben Sjoerd de Jong was also present as chief guest on the occasion.
Country Coordinator of the UN Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Leo Kenny was present as special guest, while founding member of VII Photo Agency John Stanmeyer joined the ceremony through a remote connection.
A total of 136 photographs of Nafis are put
on display in the exhibition. n
