The 50th founding anniversary of the Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) and Mass Engineering Day-2020 was observed in Chapainawabganj on Wednesday.
To mark the occasion, Chapainawabganj district unit of IDEB arranged a rally at Chapainawabganj municipality premises on Wednesday morning .
The rally was presided over by President of the Chapainawabganj district unit of IDEB Md. Sadequl Islam. Chairman of Chapainawabganj Zila Parishad and President of the Chapainawabganj district unit of Awami League Bir Muktijuddha Md. Moinuddin Mondol addressed it as chief guest while Mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Md. Nazrul Islam, Principal of Chapainawabganj Polytechnic Institute Engineer Humayun Kabir Khan and central Vice President for Rajshahi region of IDEB Kabir Uddin addressed it as special guests.
Among others, sub assistant engineers of Public Works Department Satyajit Roy and Firoj Hossain spoke at the rally. ‘
The slogan of the Day was ‘The Blue Economy will Bring Prosperity.’
