Five jailed for adopting unfair means in JDC exams

A mobile court in Moheshkhali sentenced five persons to different jail terms for helping students in adopting unfair means in the Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations on Saturday.
They are: Dhalghatpara Hossainia Badrul Ulum Dakhil Madrasa Super Abu Taleb, class IX student of Mainul Islam Madrasa Jahedul Karim, Jahanara Begum, madrasa clerk Abu Sayeed, and Nezamuddin.
Acting on a tip-off, the mobile court, led by assistant commissioner (land) M Noman Hossain, raided a house near Mainul Islam Madrasa centre at about 12 noon and caught five persons red-handed.
During the raid, five question papers, five answer sheets, two calculators and five mobile phone sets were also recovered from their possession.
