The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations were published on Sunday with 74.57 percent pass rate against last year’s 79.16 percent in Sylhet board.
Controller of Sylhet Education Board Md. Abdul Mannan Khan will formally announce the results at a press briefing at his office at 1.00pm.
A total of 57,702 students, out of 43,028 came out successful in this year’s HSC examinations.
A total of 1,356 students achieved the highest grade point average (GPA)-5 in the public examination.
26,657 are boys with 73.98 percent pass rate and 31045 girls with 75.07 percent pass rate.
Of them, 43.028 percent students passed the examinations under the boards.
This year, a total of 203 educational institutions under Sylhet Education Board in Sylhet division took part in the examinations that began on April 1 and ended on June 22.
